Re: Both my husband and myself are in our early 70’s. After moving 5 years ago we did not expect to make yet another move. But like many others, we felt after a year of COVID, the need for access to the out doors. We were living in a converted early 20th century high school, and although It was most enchanting the condo costs were high and rising and we felt more and more claustrophobic with no porch/es. We began to consider moving once again but we were nervous that buyers would have the same misgivings we had despite the charm of the building.
Then Caroline stepped in. She loved our building and knew there were buyers that would love it also. With persistence and hard work she sold our condo and helped us move to another one with just what we wanted—a backyard, porches, and thrown in for good measure, around the corner from one of the greatest parks in the city. And while the process of buying, selling, moving was indeed super stressfull, Caroline brought with her not only the obvious hand of experience and good sense but also warmth and empathy and the attitude that there is a solution to any issue that is encountered along the way.

Most professional fields have representatives that are competent and can get the job done, realtors being no exception. Recently, my wife and I met Kim at an open house and were immediately impressed with her and the home. Twelve hours later we had a signed purchase agreement. Situations, circumstances and issues over the next couple of weeks demonstrated to us what a personable and professional individual we had working for both us and the seller. She was always available via phone, text or in person to address questions or concerns. Response times were phenomenal.

Having met Kim at an Open House she was hosting I gave Kim my contact information. While the house that she was showing the day we met was not for me she called me the very next day with a home that better suited my needs. When I told Kim that home was nice but that I would really feel better having a job in my new home state of Florida first Kim was more than understanding. I have to say that I was totally unprepared for what happened next - Kim actually called me the very next day saying that she had met someone looking to hire a Nurse and she asked if she could share my name and number. Never in my life would I believe that I would get a career referral from a real estate agent - but that is exactly what happened! After getting the new job Kim showed me a few more homes and she got a sense of what I was looking for in a home. In order to qualify for a mortgage I needed to have two paychecks from a current employer. It seemed like I was waiting forever for the month to pass before I could say I was finally able to look at houses, and just days before I received my second check from my new job Kim texted me asking me if I wanted to see a home that had just been listed. After glancing at the listing I told Kim that it would not be the house for me. Fortunately Kim was persistent, saying that she really thought the home would be in line with what I was looking for. I agree to see the home, but totally disqualifying it sight unseen in my head. Oh how right Kim was, I fell in love with the home instantly and in this very competitive market was exceptionally grateful to be working with an agent who not only watches what is new to the market throughout the day, she also really listened to me tell her the things that mattered most in a home for me. Had Kim not have been insistent that I see the house I ended up buying I would have lost out on an amazing home. While I made a full price offer it was Kim's expertise that resulted in having my offer accepted in less than 12 hours from the time I made the offer AND having the scheduled open house for the next day cancelled so that I was not outbid. Kim is truly that "one in a million" person who will work with you and find you exactly what you are dreaming of.
